| Prof. Liming ZhouJilin University, China Liming Zhou, born in 1982, is a “Tang Aoqing Scholar” professor and PhD supervisor at Jilin University. He earned his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees at Jilin University (2001–2011) and completed postdoctoral research in mechanical engineering. He became associate professor in 2015 and full professor in 2020. His research centers on computational solid mechanics, notably developing a multiphysics smoothed finite element method for magnetoelectroelastic composites, and has independently created related MATLAB solvers. He also studies micromechanics, multiscale composites, and mechanical structure testing. Zhou is a council member of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, president of the Jilin Society of Mechanics, and a committee member of the China Machinery Industry Education Association. He received the 2023 Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Award (1st prize) and leads several national and provincial research projects. Since 2019, he has published over 90 SCI papers in leading journals, holds multiple patents and software copyrights, and has supervised numerous outstanding doctoral and master’s theses. |
| Prof. Hui LiNortheastern University, China Professor Li Hui is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Northeastern University, specializing in research on structural dynamics and control of advanced composite materials for aerospace applications, electromagnetic launch dynamics, and bird strike impact dynamics. He has led over 30 projects, including key projects at Taihang Laboratory, major special sub-projects of the "Aero-engine and Gas Turbine" National Major Project, General Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Aviation Science Fund projects, and pre-research projects of the PLA General Armament Department. He has published more than 110 SCI papers, 40 EI papers, authored 2 academic monographs, and been granted over 70 invention patents, of which 14 have been commercialized. Currently, he serves as Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Vibration and Control of Aero-Power Equipment (Ministry of Education, Class B) at Northeastern University, as a member of the Vibration and Noise Control Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, and as an editorial board member of the Journal of Naval Aviation University and AppliedMath. He has received the First Prize and Second Prize of Technological Invention Award of Liaoning Province, the Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Invention Award of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, the Second Prize of Technological Invention Award of the Chinese Society for Composite Materials, and the First Prize of Natural Science Academic Achievement Award of Liaoning Province. He was also selected for the "China-Korea Young Scientist Exchange Program" and recognized as a "Leading Talent of Shenyang". |

Prof. Yan Li currently serves as a board member of the Architectural Structure Branch of Jilin Provincial Civil Engineering Society, a board member of Jilin Provincial Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, an expert in engineering construction standardization of Jilin Province, a bid evaluation expert for construction projects in Jilin Province, a science and technology expert of Changchun City, and the Director of the Engineering Structure Crack Diagnosis and Treatment Institute. She has been honored with the titles "New Century Excellent Talent" in Science and Technology by Jilin Provincial Universities and "Chunmiao Talents" in Science and Technology by Jilin Provincial Universities. Her research focuses on building safety diagnosis, prevention and control of concrete structural cracks, application of new composite fiber materials, and new building energy conservation systems. As project principal investigator, she has completed one project from the Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology and three projects from the Jilin Provincial Department of Education, and is currently leading one international science and technology cooperation project from the Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology. As a major participant, she has contributed to one project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one National Science and Technology Support Program project, and over ten provincial/ministerial-level research projects.As the principal investigator, she won the Third Prize of Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2017 and 2015; the Second Prize of Jilin Provincial Natural Science Academic Achievement Award in 2015 and 2014; and the Third Prize of Jilin Provincial Natural Science Academic Achievement Award in 2012 and 2011. In 2012, she received the Second Prize of Jilin Provincial University Science and Technology Excellent Achievement Award. |
![]() | Prof. ILKWON OHKorea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea Professor Ilkwon Oh is a full professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KAIST. His research focuses on soft robotics, smart materials and adaptive structures, nanomaterials and nanoengineering, structural batteries, and mechanical metamaterials. He received his Ph.D. from KAIST in 2001. Dr. Oh is a Director of the Soft Robotics & Intelligent Materials Lab. (http://srim.kaist.ac.kr) andDirector of the National Creative Research Initiative for Functionally Antagonistic Nano-Engineering at KAIST. He has made significant contributions to the field of Smart Structures and Materials (SSM), particularly in: i) high-performance electroactive polymer actuators, artificial muscles, and soft robotic systems, ii) wearable haptic interfaces incorporating auxetic metamaterials and SMA knot architectures, and iii) triboelectric energy harvesters and high-performance batteries. The pioneering scholarly research work of Prof. Oh has been well documented in over 240 SCI papers, 5 book chapters, more than 175 patents, and 280+ conference papers, along with numerous invited lectures at research institutions and universities worldwide. His research has been continuously supported by highly competitive grants, totaling more than $17 million across 84 projects as PI and 10 as co-PI. His work has been very well received, as evidenced by over 16,638 citations and an h-index of 71. Prof. Oh is a Fellow (academician) of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology (KAST, 2025), President of the Division of Dynamics, Control and Robotics of the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers (KSME, 2025), Vice President of the Korean Society for Composite Materials (KSCM, 2025–present), and a Lifetime Member of SPIE. He also serves on editorial boards of prestigious journals including Smart Materials and Structures, Jornal of Intelligent Material Systems and Structures, Scientific Reports, Composites Part B, Functional Composites and Structures, and Advanced Composite Materials (where he served as Editor-in-Chief, 2022–2024). |
